Ron Cooper has been building commercial catamarans since 1984. He and his crew have built over 130 commercial catamarans that operate in numerous locations around the world, from Saipan to Saudi Arabia, and throughout the Caribbean and the United States. Prior to entering the boat building business, Ron operated his own charter business for 8 years. This experience gives him the perspective required to assess the needs of each owner including the U.S.C.G. certification requirements, vessel operating conditions and maintenance needs.
Each Cooper Marine Catamaran is designed specifically to the individual operator’s needs - deck layouts, power packages and accessories are all custom designed. Norm Swain, Cooper Marine’s yard manager, has worked with Ron for over 15 years. Ron and Norm work closely with each customer before and during the construction process to ensure that the completed vessel will meet the owner’s needs and meet his or her expectations. |
